Long distance pipeline and station control:

Simmel Pneumatic actuators are widely used to drive large-diameter ball valves in compressor stations, branch valve chambers, and pig receiving and dispatching stations of natural gas pipelines.

They are responsible for cutting off and switching pipelines, as well as protecting the loading and unloading of compressors. Due to the lack of stable power supply in many remote stations, pneumatic (or pneumatic hydraulic) actuators that directly use high-pressure natural gas in pipelines as a power source have become the most reliable choice.

Emergency Shutdown and Safety Interlocking (ESD/SIS):

Safety is of paramount importance in liquefaction plants (LNG), receiving stations, and urban gas gate stations. Single acting (spring reset) pneumatic actuators are commonly used for emergency shut-off valves (ESD valves).

When a leak, fire, or system loss occurs, it can rely on its built-in spring to automatically and quickly close the valve, isolate hazardous fluids, and maximize the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment.

The entire LNG industry chain:

The entire LNG industry chain: In various stages of LNG liquefaction production, low-temperature storage, transportation, and re gasification at receiving stations, pneumatic actuators are required to accurately and quickly drive various switch valves and regulating valves in harsh environments such as low temperature, humidity, and even salt spray to maintain production continuity.

Urban gas pipeline network:

In the urban gas transmission and distribution system, pneumatic actuators are used to regulate the pressure and flow of the pipeline network. In order to avoid the risk of electrical sparks, modern urban combustion systems often use nitrogen or compressed air as the driving medium to provide active protection for urban gas pipelines.
